투시자의 페미니즘 이상과 랭보시

본 연구는 ‘透視者의 편지’에 드러난 랭보의 페미니즘 이상과 랭보가 여성에게 부여한 의미가 무엇인지 살펴보고자 한다. 주지하다시피 랭보시학의 핵심인 투시자의 ‘객관적 시’는 언어를 통해 세상을 개혁하는 것이다. 따라서 가장 전통적인 시의 주제인 남녀의 애정 문제는 투시자의 이론과 양립할 수 없는 면을 지닌다. 본 연구는 이렇게 랭보의 시에서 사소한 주제로 간주될 수 있는 여성상을 통해 랭보시의 모험을 다른 각도에서 살펴보고자 한다. 이에 우리는 특히 파리 코뮌과 관련 있는 두 시를 분석한다. ｢파리의 통음난무 또는 파리의 인구는 다시 우글거린다｣에서 우리는 랭보의 시가 결정적으로 코뮌의 이상과 부합됨을 보며 랭보가 파리와 여인을 동일시하고 특히 창녀와 동일시하면서 새로운 뮤즈가 탄생됨을 본다. 창녀-비너스인 도시의 새로운 시적 변용에서 랭보시의 페미니즘 이상은 계속된다. 그리고 ｢잔 마리의 손｣에서 우리는 파리 코뮌의 실패 이후 투시자의 시도가 환멸로 바뀌는지 아니면 투쟁의 연속으로 바뀌는지 살펴보았다. ｢잔 마리의 손｣은 특히 미슐레의 ｢마녀｣에서 새로운 여성상을 빌려온다. 이 새로운 여성상은 투시자가 꿈꾸는 이상적인 여인이자 연인으로 바로 여자 투시자이며 여자 혁명가이다. 그러나 랭보의 꿈은 이 새로운 여자들이 현실에 존재하지 않음으로 해서 실현 불가능해진다. 해방된 여성이 없다는 사실, 즉 여자 투시자가 부재하는 현실에서 랭보시는 실패를 예고하고 있다. 그것은 고독의 끝이며 홀로 혁명적 꿈을 실현하는 것이다. 후기 시들 특히 ‘일뤼미나시옹’이 드러내는 저 창녀-비너스-도시의 결합은 현실의 여인이 아니라 시적 상상이 갈망한 억압 받는 창녀이자 미의 여신인 도시들이고 그 도시의 변두리에 사는 아웃사이더 여인들이다. 랭보의 꿈은 현실에서 부재한, 불쌍한 여인이 사는 외로운 전대미문의 도시들을 만난다. 본 연구에서 우리는 파리 코뮌과 관련해서 랭보의 페미니즘 이상이 랭보시의 실패와 어떤 관련을 갖는지 살펴보았다.

Before the ‘letter of Voyant’, Rimbaud was a humanist who admired the Nature and worshiped the Absolute Beauty. This research worked on the ideal of the Rimbaud's feminism in the ‘letter of the Voyant’ that revealed the poetry of Rimbaud. The poetic theory, ‘la poésie objective’ makes impossible the ideal of Rimbaud's feminism. So we analyse two long poems, L'Origie parisienne ou Paris se repeuple and Les mains de Jeanne-Marie, inspired by the Paris Commune. Theses two poems deal with the dream of the Revolution to reform the world and the mankind. Meanwhile, the lyrical love is disappeared behind the ideal of Voyant for the reform of the world. We reveal especially the combination of the reality of a city-woman and prostitute-Venus in the poetic imagination of Rimbaud who refused the oppression of the outsider. During ‘the bloody week’ of Paris Commune, the incendiary women allowed him to dream of an another world, even of an another birth of a new Woman-poet. He had verified this dream while reading of Jules Michelet's Sorceress. If the original characteristics of Woman, productivity and creativity, work, the women-poets will find out those “disgusting, delicious” rhymes in cooperation with voyant-poets, joining the reconstruction of a new world. In this new world, they could enjoy truly the “free freedom”. But after all, there exists nothing but the endless solitude for Rimbaud because of his impossible dream. In the real world, the liberation of Woman can not be realizable. That's why the poet-voyant's failure is already predicted. Finally the poet is doomed to accomplish the great work by himself in his absolute solitude. In this research, we could have verified one of those conditions of “real life” of Rimbaud and have recognized the value of the woman-poet status in the ‘letter of Voyant’.
