A Study on the Global SCM Constructing Strategy and Business Performance Critical Factor : Focus on the Information Capacit

This paper examines the constructing strategy and business performance critical factor of Global Supply Chain Management(GSCM). Information system, quality of information and information network were used as proxy for the characteristics of information capacity of GSCM. Agility and flexibility of business performance were used as proxy for the business performance critical factor of GSCM. Based on the analysis of eighty GSCM cases, the following results are found. It was found that the information network of information capacity affects agility and that the quality of information of information capacity affects flexibility. But, information system of information capacity did not affect business performance critical factor of information capacity. However, there are several limitations such as characteristics of information capacity and measurement of business performance of stability, linkage, etc.
