브레인스토밍을 통한 동시 짓기 활동이 유아의 이야기 구성력 및 창의성에 미치는 영향

Influences of Poetry Creating Activity through Brainstorming on Children’s Story Construction Ability and Creativity

본 연구는 브레인스토밍을 통한 동시 짓기 활동이 유아의 이야기 구성력과 창의성에 어떠한 효과가 있는지를 검증하였다. 연구대상은 G지역 K어린이집의 만 4. 5세 혼합반 유아 36명을 선정하였으며, 실험처치는 브레인스토밍을 통한 동시 짓기 활동을 15회 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 이야기 구성력 검사도구는 Kraayenoord와 Paris(1996)가 제작한 ‘그림책을 통한 이야기 구성 검사’를 고은님(1998)이 보완하고 최미숙(2007)이 사용한 도구를 사용하였다. 창의성 검사는 Torrance의 창의적 사고력검사(TTCT)를 김영채(1999)가 제작한 한국판 TTCT 도형검사 A형을 사전검사로 B형을 사후검사로 사용하였다. 수집된 자료를 공변량 분석을 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 실험집단 유아들이 통제집단 유아들보다 이야기 구성력과 창의성 하위요인 모두에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 브레인스토밍을 통한 동시 짓기 활동이 만 4, 5세 유아들의 이야기 구성력과 창의성 향상에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

This study verified the effects of poetry creating activity through brainstorming on children’s story construction ability and creativity. The subjects of this study were 36 children of mixed class for four and five years children at K child care center in G city and they were divided into experimental group of 18 children and control group of 18 children. Poetry creating activity was conducted through brainstorming by 15 times for five weeks. Story construction ability test instrument used in this study was ‘Story Construction Test Using Picture Book’ produced by Kraayenoord and Paris(1996) and complemented by Goh Eun Im and used by Choi Mi Sook(2007) and for Creativity Test, it used TTCT diagram test A type of Korean edition for pretest and B type for post-test made by Kim Young Chae(1999). It conducted covariance analysis with covariate variable of pretest scores to examine differences between groups and measured effects. As a result of this study, children of experimental group showed more significant differences in sub-factors including story construction ability and creativity than those of control group. Therefore, it was found that poetry creating activity through brainstorming was effective in improving story construction ability and creativity of four and five years children.
