가족지원 서비스에 대한 보육시설 부모의 요구 조사

Research on the Needs for Family Support Service of Parents Sending Their Children to Day Care Centers

본 연구는 가족지원 서비스 프로그램을 개발하기 위해 어린이집에 다니는 자녀를 둔 부모들이 어떤 가족 지원 서비스를 필요로 하는지에 대한 욕구를 조사하고자 전남 동부 지역 중소도시의 어린이집에 다니는 자녀를 둔 부모 156명을 대상으로 설문조사 하였다. 조사 결과 어린이집 부모들은 가족지원 서비스에 대해 응답자의 대부분이 필요성을 인식하고 있었지만 자녀의 연령, 아버지와 어머니의 요구 조건, 부모의 학력, 소득 수준에 따라 서비스의 내용과 요구 정도에 있어서 차이가 있었다. 또 개별적으로 요구하는 가족지원 서비스 내용도 다양하게 나타났다. 연구 결과가 암시하는 것은 가족지원 서비스 프로그램 개발을 위해 가족지원 서비스의 대상과 내용은 포괄적으로 제공해야 하지만 서비스 대상의 다양한 배경을 고려하여 표준화된 서비스 프로그램보다는 개별화된 서비스 프로그램이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

The current research seeks to identify what kind of family support service the parents who send their children to day care centers need, in order to develop a family support service system, To that end, a survey was conducted with 156 parents who sent their children to day care centers in a small town in the eastern part of Jeollanamdo. The survey findings show that most of the respondents were aware of the need for family support service, but differences were noted in terms of the contents of service and the degree of need, depending on the ages of children, needs of father and mother, academic backgrounds of parents and the level of income. The implications are that to develop family support service programs, it should be able to provide comprehensive contents, and customized service programs are needed more than standardized programs considering diverse background of customers.
