본고는 아동 대상 옛노래가 아이들의 놀이현장에서 자발적으로 연행이 되기보다는 다양한 교육기관이나 교육 매체를 통해 일종의 교육 콘텐츠적 성격으로 전환되고 있는 현상에 주목하였다. 그 중, 영유아부터 초등저학년까지의 폭넓은 독자층을 확보하고 있으며 다양한 경로를 통해 쉽게 접할 수 있는 그림책을 분석 대상으로 삼아, 아동 대상 옛노래가 그림책에 어떻게 수록되고 있는지, 그 수록 양상을 파악하고자 하였다. 이에, 그림책에 수용된 아동 대상 옛노래를 동요와 성인요로 분류한 후, 각각의 수록률과 반복수록률을 따져 보았다. 그 결과 어떠한 노래가 비중 있게 선택되고, 어떠한 노래가 선택되지 못했는지의 수록 양상을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 또한 그와 같은 양상이 나타나는 이유를 고찰해 보았으며, 더불어 그로인해 발생하는 문제점과 그 해결 방안에 대해 논의하였다.
This research considers current trends that children's old songs are transferred to educational contents through various educational institutions or media rather than being delivered to play activities naturally. Targeting easily accessible picture books with a wide range of readers ranging from infants to early grades of elementary school students, this study intends to find out how children's old songs are applied to picture books. To this end, children's old songs on picture books were classified into children's songs and adults' songs and inclusion rate and repetitive inclusion rate were analyzed. As a result, it was found that what songs were significantly selected and what songs were not. Moreover, reasons for this phenomenon were also analyzed and related problems and solutions were discussed.
