Actual State of Indoor Thermal Environment in University Assembly Classroom during Winter

The purpose of this study was to grasp the actual state of indoor thermal environment in university assembly classroom during winter. Method was field survey with measurement of indoor thermal elements and observation of influencing factor. Field surveys were carried out in 12 lectures of the 6 university assembly classroom from 30th November to 6th Decemver 2007. Measuring elements were indoor temperature, relative humidity and air velocity and measuring points were at the top of desk and floor level in center of classroom. As results, the averages of indoor temperature in lectures at assemble classroom were 11.0∼25.5℃. Most of lectures were lower than standard(18∼22℃). The mean of relative humidity were 20.6∼52.5%. Excepting 1 lecture, other lectures were included in standard(30∼80%). The mean of air velocity were 0.00∼0.10m/s, all lectures were lower than standard(0.25∼0.50m/s). Vertical indoor temperature difference was included in standard(less than 3℃) except 1 lecture on heating.
