Неузуалъная лексика в языке русских писателей первой половины XIX века

The article is devoted to the analysis of the meaning and the structure of non-usable words in the language of Russian writers of the first half of the XIXth century. Non-usable words are lexemes, which are not fixed in dictionaries and are not confirmed by practice of communication. Such lexemes are typical for one author and they reflect the possibilities of word-formative system of the language. The functions of non-usable words are nominative and expressive. Their meaning becomes clear from the context and the situation of communication. In our article non-usable words name a person depending on his profession, type of activity and his personal characteristics. Non-usable words are typical for epistolary and fictional genres, for reception and for literary and critical, social and political review.
