농산어촌 초등학교 교사ㆍ학생의 교육복지 요구 분석

Needs Assessment of Rural Elementary Teachers and Students on the Educational Welfare

이 연구는 농산어촌 교육복지 실태에 관한 초등학교 교사와 학생의 만족도와 요구를 조사하여 분석한 것이다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역사회의 교육복지 환경에 대한 만족도가 낮은 편이며, 체육ㆍ문화시설과 도서관ㆍ공부방에 대한 요구가 높았다. 둘째, 체육관ㆍ운동기구, 교직원 복지시설, 통학의 편리성에 대해 미흡하게 생각하였으며, 교직원복지시설과 체육시설의 개선에 대한 요구가 높았다. 셋째, 교사들은 공문 및 잡무 처리에 대한 부담을 많이 느끼고 있었 다. 넷째, 교사들은 교사와 학생, 학생과 학생 간의 관계가 친밀하다고 느꼈지만, 학부모의 교사에 대한 신뢰, 학부모의 자녀의 학업성취에 대한 관심 정도는 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 인식하였다. 다섯째, 교사들은 열정적으로 수업을 잘 진행하고 있다고 생각하지만, 학생들은 이러한 교사들의 생각과는 다소 달랐다. 여섯째, 농촌지역이라고 하더라도 읍, 면, 도서벽지에 따라 만족도와 요구에 있어서 다소 차이가 있었다.

The purpose of this research was to identify the needs of rural elementary teachers and students on the educational welfare. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, the satisfaction of rural educational circumstances is low, and the needs of sports, cultural and learning facilities are high. Second, the teachers are dissatisfied with school facilities(sports facilities and welfare facilities for the teachers), so they hopes to improve those facilities. Third, the teachers are dissatisfied with too much miscellaneous business. Fourth, the teachers think they have close relationship with the students, but they don't win the confidence of the parents. Fifth, the teachers believe that they teach their students earnestly, but the students don't agree to the view. Sixth, the different localities show the different needs of educational welfare.
