초등학교 평생교육 운영에 대한 교사 인식 분석

The Analysis of Teachers' Perception on the Operation of Elementary School Life-long Education

본 연구는 초등학교 평생교육 운영에 대한 교사들의 인식을 조사, 분석하고 이를 토대로 학교평생교육 활성화 방안을 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 부산시 소재 초등학교 교사 148명을 대상으로 11문항으로 구성된 질문지를 실시하였고, 수집된 자료는 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 일원변량분석 및 Scheffe′사후검정을 사용하여 분석되었다. 주요 결과를 살펴보면, 초등학교 교사들은 학교가 평생교육에 참여해야 하는가에 대해 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 있었으며, 초등학교에서의 평생교육이 학부모와 지역주민의 자기계발 및 생활향상에 기여하는가에 대해 교사들은 도움이 된다고 인식하고 있었다. 평소 평생교육에 대해 어느 정도 알고 있는지에 대해 교사들은 어느정도 알고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 학교평생교육 프로그램 운영의 책임이 부여된다면 어떻게 할 것인지에 대해 교사들은 부정적인 인식을 나타내었다. 학습자들이 평생교육에 참여한 만족도가 어느 정도였는지에 대해 교사들은 보통정도로 인식하고 있었으며, 학교평생교육 활성화를 위해 지방자치단체의 행․재정지원 노력에 대해 교사들은 부정적인 인식을 나타내었다. 평생교육에 대한 동료교사들의 협조수준에 대해 교사들은 보통정도라고 인식하고 있었으며, 학교평생교육 운영에 있어서 업무 부담이 어느 정도인지에 대해 교사들은 다소 부담은 되고 있다고 인식하고 있었다.

The purpose of the study was to analyze teachers' perception on the operation of elementary school life-long education and explore the activation ways for school life-long education. Using 148 teachers who were working, the study administrated a questionnaire and collected data. The collected data was analyzed by frequency, descriptive statistics, and one-way ANOVA and Scheffe post-hoc comparison. Main results showed that teachers had positive perception about the participation of school to life-long education. They had positive perception about the contribution of school to life-long education. They knew somewhat life-long education. They had negative perception about having the responsibility on the operation of school life-long education. They perceived that the satisfaction of learners who participated in life-long education was ordinary. They had negative perception about the administrative and financial support of local self-government. They perceived that peer teachers' cooperation on life-long education was ordinary. They perceived that the loading of life-long education operation was a little high. The results discussed based on previous research, and the ways for activating school life-long education were presented.
