Study on Expression Techniques of Texture by using Glitter Materials in Modern Make-Up

Glitter cosmetic materials are the world‘s leading makeup items in the 21st century, and still continuously lots of researches are conducted to develop new and advanced materials. In this paper, we studied application of glitter materials. Through the texture of glitter materials and application methods, glitter makeup can be applied in a various ways, for example, glitter base makeup for refining skin’s texture, color makeup using glitter or pearl shadows, or makeup using objects such as cubic, stone, spangles. These glitter makeup are currently being patronized in commercials ads and fashion shows. Therefore we designed the questionnaire to understanding public acceptance or consumer's preference and then got the results about various preference which are expression techniques of Glitter cosmetic materials. This study may be helpful for understanding current makeup trend more intensively, for creating new trend and also for developing new cosmetic materials.
