Temporal change in Structure of Dolmens in Jeonnam : Focusing on intra-site construction sequence

전남지역 지석묘는 대부분 군집을 이루고 있으며 일정한 정형성을 띠고 분포하고 있다. 지석묘는 구조적으로 지형과 공간이라는 요소와 밀접하게 관련되어 있다. 특히 지석묘가 군집을 이루는 경우에는 이러한 양상이 보다 뚜렷하게 나타난다. 개별 지석묘군의 분포양상은 축조순서와 직결되며 지석묘의 형식학적 변천과정과 공반유물의 상대편년을 분석하는데 있어 타당한 근거를 제공한다. 지석묘의 형식분류는 기존 지석묘 형식분류안의 검토를 거쳐 형식학적 변천과정을 설명할 수 있는 형식분류안을 설정하였다. 형식분류의 주요속성으로 매장주체부의 재료, 장폭비, 위치를 채택하였으며 형식분류안의 타당성은 지형적 측면과 공간적 양상의 상관관계를 통해 검증하였다. 또한 지석묘의 형식변천과정은 해당유구의 시간성과 기초하여 공반유물을 통해 파악하였으며 크게 4분기로 나누어 살펴보았다. 결과적으로 전남지역 개별 지석묘군은 지형적 측면과 공간적 양상의 상관관계를 통해 지석묘의 각 속성과 상호연동되며 형식학적 변천과정을 갖는 것으로 분석되었다. 지석묘군 내 축조 선후관계 분석은 기존 지석묘 형식분류안이 안고 있는 개별유구 적용을 통한 편년설정의 한계를 어느정도 극복할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Most Dolmens in Jeon-nam region form assemblies and are distributed with regular patterns. Dolmens are closely related structurally with geographical features and space. Especially, this kind of aspect is manifest when dolmens form assemblies. Distributions aspects of each assembly are connected directly with the construction sequences and offer reasonable evidences to analyze the Type Transition of dolmens and the relative chronological of accompany remains. Dolmens typological classification is supposed through the investigation of the existing typological classification which was made by extraction of nominal attribute and continousl attribute. Dolmen's main burial part, thinratio and location are chosen as the principle properties of typological classification. The validity of typological classification is verified by correlation between aspects of geographical features and space. Dolmens' typological change process which has 5 periods was understood through the occurrence seriation. Each dolmen was analysed with focusing on geographical and space properties. The consequence of that analyzing revealed the correlation between each property of dolmens and the typological change process. The study of construction sequences in the assembly seemed to overcome the existing typological classification's limitation of setting up the chronological. The study of relatively incomplete dolmens in Jeon-nam region about a time to appear and to disappear and the diffusion process seems to be a task to be solved through a close investigation, though.
