가족지지, 부모와의 의사소통 및 친밀감이 중고등학생의 자살행동에 미치는 영향

The effects of parent-adolescent intimacy, parent-adolescent communication, family support on suicidal behavior of middle and high school's students

본 연구는 중고등학생들의 부·모와의 친밀감, 부·모와의 의사소통, 가족지지가 자살행동에 미치는 영향을 비교해 보기 위해 이루어졌다. 본 연구를 위해 중고등학생 907명(중학생 416명, 고등학생 491명)이 조사되었다. 본 연구를 통해 밝혀진 주요한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부와의 의사소통, 친밀감은 중고등학생의 성별에 따라 자살행동에 대한 영향에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 중고등학생의 성별과 함께 투입된 모든 독립변인이 자살행동에 대한 주효과를 나타냈으나 상호작용 효과는 통계적으로 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모와의 의사소통과 친밀감 수준이 자살행동에 미치는 영향에 대한 가족지지의 조절효과를 알아본 결과, 부와의 친밀감, 모와의 의사소통에서 가족지지와 함께 주효과가 나타났으며 모와의 친밀감과 부와의 의사소통과 가족지지가 함께 투입되었을 때 가족지지만이 주효과를 나타냈다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점과 추후연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

Purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of parent-adolescent intimacy, parent-adolescent communication, family support on suicidal behavior of middle-school and high-school's students. The subjects were 907 students who were 416 middle school's students and 491 high school's students. All data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 12, and t-test, Univariate analysis was conducted. Major findings were as follows; (1) Father-adolescent intimacy and communication of Boys were higher than that's of girls. And suicidal behavior of girls were higher than that's of boys. (2) In sex differences, father-adolescent intimacy, father-adolescent communication, mother-adolescent intimacy, mother-adolescent communication, family support and sex differences showed main effect only on the relationship between all variables and suicidal behavior. (3) On the relationship between all variables and suicidal behavior with family support, father-adolescent intimacy, mother-adolescent communication, family support showed main effect only. This study is significant in trying to clarify the gender differences of students and parent in the effects of psychosocial family variables like parent-adolescent intimacy, parent-adolescent communication, family support on suicidal behavior of middle and high-school's students. Implications for adolescence suicide research, limitations and suggestions for further studies were discussed.
