This thesis is studied about narrative structure and textuality, text-linguistic characteristic of nocheonyeoga. Nocheonyeoga is a transition work during Gasa in latter period of choseon to classical literature in modern times. It has a rhythm of Gasa and narrative structure of novel. The contents of this work is that some spinster says her mind frankly because of unmarried situation, and after she did everything she could. And then she won success, so she married happily. This work has two narrators. One is a introduction narrator and the other is a main events narrator. That is too say, the latter is a spinster. So it is studied this text structure first, and with this basis is studied its textuality, text-linguistic characteristic. First, nocheonyeoga has two narrators. One is a introduction narrator that take charge of story's opening and finding. The other is a spinster herself that says her unmarried story. So this work has frame structure because of two narrators. The narrative structure of this work has six sense conclusion. And each episode is connected the whole subject 'marriage' strictly. So each episode has a structure that 'self-introduction→background explanation→telling fortune→dream→marry→happy ending'. Second, nocheonyeoga is concentrated one main subject laying stress on syntatic cohesion and semantic coherence. In nocheonyeoga syntatic cohesion is a recurrence, parallelism, paraphrase, ellipsis etc. These build up textuality by strict connecting of text structure. That is, these main materials made sentence surface structure strongly. Semantic coherence in nocheonyeoga reveals every characters's name. A affirmative name is maintained affirmation to the end, and negative name is same to the end. This consistent expression made this work's structure strongly. Third, nocheonyeoga has a text-linguistic characteristic of modern language in korea. First, in nocheonyeoga, it has a honest expression that a spinster wants a marriage. And that expression leads to laugh to reader. Besides this text's hero is a woman, so it reveals frankness to reader. This expression is a device that makeer.
