최근 들어 중재-반응(RTI) 접근에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 국내에서도 학습장애 진단과 팔별은 물론, 중재 모델로서 RTI 적용을 주장하는 목소리가 높아지고 있다. 그렇지만 RTI가 나오게 된 배경과 해결하고자 하는 문제가 우리나라의 그것과 동일하지 않은 만큼 현장에의 적용을 주장하기에 앞어 그에 필요한 요건을 심층 분석하고 관련 경험적 연구를 축적하는 것이 선행되어야 한다. 이 논문에서는 소위 ‘한국형 RTI’의 요건을 다각적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 국내에서 RTI가 필요한 이유를 분석하고, RTI가 주장하는 원리와 실제 적용 모습, 우리 교육현장에 당장 적용했을 때 예상되는 부작용 등을 논의하였다. 이러한 논의를 바탕으로 한국형 RTI가 정착되는데 필요한 경험적 연구 분야를 RTI 주요 내용별로 제시하였다.
Recently, the arguments that RTI models must be adopted as an intervention model for students with learning disabilities as well as a diagnose approach are getting attention, as people have been informed more and more about RTI. However, at least three things must be conducted first, including analyzing necessary requirements for adopting the RTI models, and accumulating research-based evidence with regard to the feasibility of RTI models in Korea before advocating any RTI model. In this study, the requirements of so called 'Korean RTI' were suggested in various aspects. For this task, first, it was analyzed why the RTI approach is needed in Korea. Second, several principle ideas of RTI advocators and some aspects of RTI practices were described and listed. Third, several possible side effects or negative influences were predicted when any RTI model was acrually implemented wihour enough empirical evidence. Based on the arguments, necessary requirements for implementing successfully a Korean RTI were presented.
