지역사회 환경에의 통합촉진을 위한 장애학생의 행동문제 감소를 위한 중재적 접근

Interventions for reducing behavior problems exhibited by persons with disabilities to promote inclusion in the community environments : The positive behavioral supports on the aggressive behavior

공격행동은 문제행동을 보이는 학생들의 심각한 행동유형의 하나로 통합된 환경에서도(지역사회, 작업, 학교 환경 모두)그래도 존재하는 경우 그 영향은 심각할 수 있으므로 여러 환경 내에서의 공격행동의 발생과 관련된 환경적 조건에 대한 세밀한 분석 및 평가가 필요하다. 그리고 이에 근거한 가장 효과적이면서도 보다 자연스러운 환경에서 덜 조작적이고 덜 개입적이며 비혐오적인 중재가 실행되어야 한다. 이러한 의미에서 긍정적인 행동지원은 문제행동을 보이는 장애인들도 지역사회의 다른 모든 일원들과 마찬가지로 인간으로서 존중받고 존엄성을 인정받아야 한다는 기본 철학을 반영하여 문제행동의 감소자체 뿐 아니라 적극적인 예방과 교육적이고 개별화된 접근을 시도하며 궁극적인 삶의 질과 행동지원의 전문성을 강조한다. 이에 본 글에서는 공격행동의 유형 및 특성에 대해 살펴보고 공격행동이 어떤 기능을 가지고 주어진 환경 내에서 발현되는지를 파악하는 기능적 평가·분석 절차에 대해 알아보았다. 또한 공격행동에 대한 긍정적인 행동지원의 여러 접근방법을 살펴보고 이의 실행을 위한 중재계획 및 절차의 실제를 제시하였다. 이를 통하여 교사·보호자 및 관련 서비스 전문가가 장애인이 속한 다양한 환경에서 공격행동을 감소 혹은 제거시키는 접근기법들 뿐 아니라 바람직한 행동을 형성시키고 문제행동발생을 예방하는 교육적·예방적 차원에서의 긍정적 행동지원 체계를 활용하는데 일조 하고자 한다.

The aggressive problem behavior is one of the most serious maladaptive behaviors exhibited by persons with disabilities and Students who exhibit these types of behaviors are less tolerated by service providers and peers, and are increased risk for being excluded from the various inclusive setting in community. "Positive behavioral support" reflects a commitment to the value that people with disabilities who have challenging behaviors should be the same respect and dignity as all other members of the community. It also attempt the active prevention and educative and individualized approach as well as reducing problem behaviors, and ultimately pursuit the quality of life. This article describes that the types and characteristics of aggressive behaviors, and functional assesment procedure to identify possible relationships between person-environmental conditions and the occurrence or nonoccurrence of a target behavior. Also, several approaches on the positive behavioral support the intervention plans and implementing procedures for aggressive problem behavior are presented. This consideration is expected that service providers for persons with disabilities who exhibited aggressive behaviors will apply the positive behavioral support to educate and replace development adaptive alternatives as well as reducing behavior techniques instead aversive behavior management.
