특수교육교사의 역할갈등에 관한 연구

An Analysis on the Role Conflict of Special Education Teachers

본 연구에서는 정신지체 특수학교와 특수학급에 근무하는 특수교육교사의 8개 직무영역에 대한 역할갈등의 정도를 교육경력, 성별 및 학교급간의 교사변인에 따라 조사분석하였다. 연구대상은 전국에서 무선표집한 초·중등의 정신지체 특수학교와 특수학급 교사 240명이었다. 연구의 결과는 첫째, 교직경력이 적은 교사가 교직경력이 많은 교사에 비해 역할갈등이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 남교사가 여교사에 비해 역할갈등이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 중등학교 교사가 초등학교 교사에 비해 역할갈등이 높게 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 시보교사제 도입, 직무수행력 중심 현직연수의 강화, 추수연구과제 등을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze and investigate the role conflict of special education teachers in special schools and special classes for the mentally retarded. With a view to improving their teaching environment and solving their conflict, eight role conflict domains are compared the differences in their sexes, careers and level of schools. By the random sampling 240 special education teachers in special schools and special classes were selected as subject. For the statistics analysis, two-way ANOVA method is used and the results of this study are as fellows. First, in all of eight role conflict domains little experienced teachers' role conflict is bigger than much experienced teacher's. Second. in sexual differences male teacher's role conflict is bigger than female teacher's. Third, middle school teacher's role conflict is bigger than primary school teacher's.
