생활시설 장애인의 삶의 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

The Factors Affecting Life satisfaction of the Disabled People Living in Residential Facilities

본 연구는 생활시설에 거주하는 장애인들의 삶의 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인가를 발견하는 데 목적을 두었다． 조사대상자는 경기도, 서울，인천의 생활시설에 거주하는 장애인이다．회수된 설문지 중 127부가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 주요한 연구결과는 다음과 같다．첫째，일반적 특성변수에 따른 삶의 만족도 차이를 분석한 결과 종교，시설거주기간, 평균소득，장애정도，건강정도，가족관계유무가 유의미한 변수로 분석되었다．둘째，일반적 특성변수와 독립변수를 투입한 회귀분석에서 시설의 교통이동편의，시설의 물리적 환경，사회적 지지，사회통합정도가 유의미한 변수로 분석되었다．셋째，삶의 만족도 하위척도인 8개의 요인을 종속변수로 하여 이에 영향을 미치는 독립변수들을 분석하였다．이러한 연구결과를 근거로 하여 시설을 건립할 때 교통이동 편의를 중요시할 것과, 시설의 편안함과 구조의 편리함을 중요시할 것을 제안하였다．또한 사회참여와 외출，문화와 여가생활을 강화하여 사회통합정도를 높이는 것이 필요함을 제시하였다．생활시설 장애인에게는 가족의 지지나 자원봉사자의 도움보다 같이 지내는 동료나 직원의 도움과 관심이 더욱 중요하였다.

This is the study to find out the factors facilitating life satisfaction of the disabled people living in residential facilities in Kyungkli-do, Seoul, Incheon area. Survey questionnaire were sent to these facilities and 127 surveys are used in the final analysis. Based on these results, I am suggesting following ideas and guidelines. First, the place where the facility is located is very important, especially in respect of tranasportation and movement. Second, physical structure and comfortableness of the facilities are also important factors in life satisfaction of the disabled people living in these facilities. Third, social integration is found to be important factor in life satisfaction. it is necessary to encourage each facility to enhance activities of social participation in outside places. Finally, rather than family and volunteer help and relationship, care and help from friends and staff living in these facilities are more important. Thus in operating these facilities these aspects are needed to be considered.
