장애인복지관에서 사례관리자의 역할결정요인에 관한 연구

A study on the determining factors of case managers' role at the rehabilitation center

이 연구의 목적은 사회복지사들이 장애인복지관에서 사례관리자로서의 역할을 효과적으로 수행할 수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위한 기초자료를 확보하기 위하여 시도되었다. 조사대상은 전국에 소재하고 있는 장애인복지관에 근무하고 있는 232명의 사회복지사를 조사대상으로 하였다. 조사결과는 사례관리자의 역할, 클라이언트의 문제, 서비스수행의 어려움과 관련한 하위 요인들 간에 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 분석자료의 크기에 영향을 받는 x²에 의한 적합도는 검증되지 않았으나 GFI, AGFI, NFI, RMSEA 등 모형부합지수들이 모형의 적합성을 검증해 주었으며, 전체적으로 양호한 모형이라 할 수 있다. 결론적으로 인과모형의 효과를 살펴보면 서비스수행의 어려움과 클라이언트의 문제는 사례관리자의 역할에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 서비스수행의 어려움은 클라이언트의 문제와는 상호관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났지만 사례관리자의 역할에는 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 장애인복지관에서 사례관리를 효과적으로 전개할 수 있는 사례관리자의 역할정립과 관련한 실증적인 연구의 필요성을 제기한다.

This study was conducted to establish primary data for exploring the way in which social workers perform their role as case managers effectively at the Rehabilitation Center. I surveyed 232 social workers who work at the Rehabilitation Center located over a whole country. As a result, I found that there was the interrelation among the sub-factors related to case managers' role, clients' characteristics and the difficulties in performing service. The study tested the structural equation model related to the case managers' role and found that the model fitted overall considering the indices such as GFI, AGFI, NFI, RMSEA. Even if x² was not satisfactory, the goodness of fit for the model is fine when we consider the necessity of a multi faceted evaluation. In summary of the model, the difficulties in performing service and the clients' characteristics are found to have a positive impact on the case managers' role. However, the difficulties in performing service had a negative impact on the case mangers' role whereas they are interrelated to the clients' characteristics. The study concludes that we need to conduct systematic empirical research for establishing social workers' role as good case managers more effectively at the social welfare facilities for the disabled.
