장애인 고용에서의 보조공학 효과분석

Analysis of the Effectiveness of Assistive Technology on the Employment of People with Disabilities

본 연구의 목적은 장애인 고용에서의 보조공학의 효과를 실증하는 것이다. 연구대상은 보조공학기기를 사용하고 있는 민간 사업체에 재직 중인 장애인근로자이다. ATOMS 모델을 이용하여 보조공학기기 및 서비스에 대한 만족도와 보조공학기기 사용 후의 장애로 인한 작업불편, 작업수행능력, 직무만족도, 삶의 질에 대한 효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 사용자 관점의 만족도는 보조공학기기에 대한 만족도가 서비스에 대한 만족도보다 높게 나타났고, 보조공학기기 사용에 따라 장애인근로자의 장애로 인한 작업불편, 작업수행능력, 직무만족도, 삶의 질에서 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개인적 특성, 고용특성, 보조공학기기 특성 및 사용기간에 따라 보조공학 효과에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 최종 결론은 장애인 고용에서의 보조공학은 효과적인 것으로 증명되었다.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of assistive technology on the employment of people with disabilities. The subjects included in this study were workers with disabilities who are using assistive technology devices in private companies. Using ATOMS model, the effectiveness of assistive technolgy on the satisfaction level of assistive technology device and service were analyzed. Also, task inconvenience due to individual’s disability, ability to carry out task, satisfaction level of task, and quality of life were analyzed before and after using assistive technology devices. As a result, from the user point of view, higher levels of satisfaction for assistive technology devices were shown compared to the services. Also, assistive technology devices were effective in task inconvenience due to individual’s disability, ability to carry out task, satisfaction level of task, and quality of life for workers with disabilities who used the devices. In addition, there were differences in the effectiveness of assistive technology depending on personal characteristics, employment characteristics, assistive technology device characteristics and the length of usage of assistive devices. Ultimately, this research has proven that assistive technology is effective in employment of people with disabilities.
