성인대학생용 대학생활적응 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구

A Study on the Development and Validity of University Life Adaptation Scale for Non-traditional Student

본 연구는 성인대학생용 대학생활적응 척도를 개발하고 타당화하기 위하여 기초조사, 면접조사, 예비조사, 본조사 등의 절차를 거쳤다. 본 조사는 광주•전남지역의 전문대학 및 일반대학의 26세이상 성인대학생 대상으로 800부의 설문지를 배포하였고, 자료분석에는 653부가 이용되었다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과 6요인 28개 문항이 도출되었고, 요인명은 심리육체적응, 교육의질적응, 성인학생관계적응, 대학공부적응, 일반학생관계적응, 외부상황적응 등이다. 확인적 요인분석 결과 모형 내 모든 경로계수가 유의하여 요인별 단일 차원성을 확인하였으며, 검증모형에 대한 산출 결과 역시 적합도의 지수들이 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 도출된 성인대학생용 대학생활적응 척도는 기존의 일반대학생용 대학생활적응 척도와 차이를 보였는데, 특히 외부상황이 대학생활적응에 있어서 영향력있는 요인으로 드러났다. 이러한 본 연구결과를 반영한 대학내•외에 적용될 수 있는 제안들을 제시하였다.

This study was done open-ended questionnaire survey, interview, pilot-test, and survey in order to develop and validate university life adaptation scale for non-traditional student. A survey of 800 non-traditional student in Gwangju and Cheonnam area was carried out, 653 questionnares were used on statistical analysis. The results of exploratory factor analysis were that 6 factors 28 items were extracted, and the names of extracted factors were adaptation in psychological-physical, in the quality of education, in relation with non-traditional student, in the study of university, in relation with traditional student, and in external situation. The results of confirmatory factor analysis were that the scale of empirical data supported the conceptual model of this study and the fit mesures of model were all acceptable. University life adaptation scale for non-traditional student extracted from this study had a clear difference from university life adaptation scale for traditional student. Especially, adaptation in external situation was influential factor in university life adaptation scale for non-traditional student. Finally, this study suggested proposals reflecting these results of this study.
