성인학습자들의 학습태도가 평생학습 참여 및 학습의 사회적 성과에 미치는 영향 분석

Analysis on the effect of the adult attitudes toward adult and continuing education on the learning participation and social outcomes of learning

본 연구는 성인들의 평생학습태도가 개인적, 사회적으로 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위하여 개인적 성과로서 학습참여에 미치는 영향과 사회적 성과로서 건강, 정치참여, 신뢰에 미치는 영향을 구조방정식모형을 통해 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 첫째, 성인학습자들의 학습태도에 관한 이론적 모형을 구안하고, 둘째, 학습태도 요인간의 개념적 구조를 파악하고, 셋째, 평생학습에 대한 가치를 매개로 하는 성인학습자들의 학습태도가 평생학습의 참여정도와 학습의 사회적 성과에 미치는 영향을 구조방정식모형으로 분석하였다. 이러한 분석결과 평생학습의 참여와 관련하여 학습태도 세 개 요인 간에는 개념적 구조를 지니고 있으며, 참여에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 평생학습에 대한 태도이고 평생학습의 중요성과 즐거움은 평생학습에 대한 가치를 매개로 하여 평생학습의 참여에 영향을 미치고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 평생학습의 참여정도는 학습의 사회적 성과(SOL)에 통계적으로 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of study is to analyze how the adult attitudes toward adult and continuing education relates to both individuals and society. In order to examine the adult attitudes toward adult and continuing education influence on learning participation and social outsomes of learning through structural equation modeling, this study have conducted as following: first, this study reviewed recent researches on the adult attitudes toward adult and continuing education. Second, confirmatory factor analysis revealed a three-dimensional structure of attitude with three factors, Enjoyment of Learning, Perceived Importance, and Intrinsic Value, and conceptual structure as well. Third, it investigated the influences of attitudes toward education between learning participation and social outcomes of learning. Through structural equation modeling, it was demonstrated that AACES was conceptually sound, and two of its three dimensions of attitudes, enjoyment of learning, perceived importance, were not only significantly related to participation through the intrinsic value, but also participation have affect on the social outcomes of learning.
