What is art? What makes poetry be like poetry, music like music, and paintings like paintings? What creates art by inoculating language, sound, and image with spirits? Does a fundamental factor actually exist- gushing up from the inside of all art forms, appealing to our emotions and making one feel the sympathy, beauty, or impression that touches our souls? When we have an aesthetic experience- for example, when we deeply see through the human life while listening to Beethoven's Symphony No 5 what may be the causal relationship between Symphony No 5 and the insight into life? Could a painting of a great artist like Picasso give impression to every person beyond the times and regions? This article aims to understand these problems within life and discuss the effects and values of art. The purpose of this article is not just to understand art as fragmentary, two-dimensional, partial definition as "creating beauty", "giving impression", or "creating forms", but to closely examine the world art intends to through the vague boundary between the broad, cursory extensions and abundant mternal meaning of the art concept. Therefore, an original question about the essence of art flowing along the foundation of art works is raised, and the process of how art responds within our minds is pursued. The world expressed by art is not showed by direct sensations, but is a vague thing delivered by feelings through sensation. This is why describing the internal world of art through logic is impossible for us Since artistic effects are the product of general intuition, they exist by transcending logic. In conclusion, the fact that artistic effects not being showed by external forms that could be understood by the logic of art but aiming at another world above forms, is the largest obstacle in understanding the internal life force of art, It the ultimate world which art purse is a world beyond comments, it world be contradictory for using language to understand that world. Then what process of recognition exists between the external forms of art and its essence. This article aims to examine the values of how art have meaning in the human life, in the process of bringing philosophical questions on the relationship between forms, essence, and mind.
