The Korean Educational Archetypes on the Dangun Mythology(檀君神話)

국조신화인 단군신화, 그 중에도 특히 웅녀의 탄생과정 부분을 교육적 안목에서 분석하면 다음과 같은 교육원형을 추출할 수 있다. 첫째, 교육의 본질은 인간됨의 과정이다. 둘째, 교육은 학습자 중심적으로 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 교육과정은 동물적인 본능이나 충동을 제거 통제하는 내용, 도덕과 문화에 관련한 내용, 분별심을 갖지 않게 하는 내용 등 인성교육에 관련한 것이 중심을 이루어야 한다. 넷째, 교육적 인간상은 협동적으로 생산하는 인간이다. 위의 교육적 원형을 기준으로 하여 볼 때 현재 우리 교육은 교육원형에서 매우 벗어나 있으며 이런 이유로 심각한 병리현상에 빠져 있다.

A originate of archetype is a permanent deposit in the mind of an experience that has been constantly repeated for many generations. Ignoring seriously and continuously the archetype, a person and society get fallen the symptoms of the abnormal.. The Dangun mythology has the Korean educational archetypes, we are able to extract educational archetypes from the Ungney(熊女)Story in the Dangun mythology. In the educational view, the Ungney Story that a bear is switched into human being on guide of Hwannung(桓雄) as a king and a god is a educational discourse. The educational archetypes on the Ungney are as follows: First, education is a cultivating process the human animal to the human being. Second, education is the learner-centered activities, the most important element for a successful education is readiness on emotional domain of learner. Third, role of teacher is guidance and helping to learners activities. Fourth, curriculum is consisted with what eliminate wildness out and cultivate the human nature on. Recently, the educational activities in the Korea Society have been ignoring the Korean archetypes, and so the Korean education has a serious symptoms and falls into big and deep difficult.
