수운 최제우 교육사상이 현대교육에 주는 함의

Some Implications for the Modern Education Based on Su-Wun's Education Thoughts

본 연구는 현대교육이 도덕적 가치보다는 과학 기술적 지식을 우선하는 내용이 주를 이루어 인간성 상실 위기라는 문제점을 낳아 이를 극복하는 길로 인간 존중을 외친 수운 최제우의 교육사상이 현대 교육에 주는 함의를 고찰하였다. 이를 위해 수운의 교육사상의 형성배경, 교육사상의 기초인 시천주 사상과 수운의 인간관, 그리고 교육 사상의 목적․내용․방법을 살펴보았다. 따라서 현대교육에 주는 함의로 교육은 인간존중, 인간평등, 자율적 그리고, 이상적 인간상으로 이루어져야 한다는 것이다.

This paper is to find out some implications for the modern education, based on Su-Wun's education thoughts, which are responsible for human being's respect to overcome crisis of humanism in modern education because of preference of the knowledge of technology than the moral value. As for the study, the paper studied the background of educational thoughts of Su-Wun; the Si-Chun-Joo thought and the view of human beings which are the base of educational thoughts; the purpose, context, and methods of his education. Thus, we can suggest that some implications for the modern education, it consists of the respect of human being, for the equality of human being, for the autonomy, and for the image of ideal human being
