동몽선습의 윤리는 전통적인 농경사회 속에서 형성된 가부장적 윤리라고 할 수 있다. 부모와 자녀, 부부의 관계가 사회 전체의 인간관계로 확대되어 남성 우선, 혈연관계에 기반을 두는 연장자 우선의 논리가 전체적으로 깔려 있다. 초등학교 도덕 교과서에는 부자관계에 대한 가부장적 설명은 없으며, 남성 우선의 부부관계 설명도 없다. 그러나 사회적 인간관계에 대한 설명은 동몽선습과 유사성을 지니고 있다. 이러한 결과는 전통적인 윤리의 변화 영역이 가부장적인 가정윤리에서 시작하여 사회윤리에로 확대되고 있음을 보여준다. 이러한 변화의 움직임은 계속될 것이며, 도덕 교과서의 개정에 반영될 것으로 보인다.

Morals between parents and child, husband and wife were applied to the social relationship. Logics of morals in Tongmongseonsup is androcentric and senior-centric. In the moral textbooks of elementary school, the androcentric explanation about relationship between husband and wife and senior-centric description about parents and child were not found. But There was the similarity between Tongmongseonsup and moral textbooks of elementary school in the explanation about the social relationships. This results suggest that changing area of the traditional morals is extended from the androcentric and senior-centric family morals to the social relationships. This change would be reflected in the revision of moral yextbooks of elementary school.
