반성적 사고 실천에 기초한 교육실습

A Study of Educational Practice on the Basis of Reflective Thinking

예비교사의 반성능력은 오늘날 교사교육프로그램에 있어서 대단히 중요한 위치를 차지한다. 더욱이 수업에서의 비판적 분석과 반성적 사고는 한층 더 강화되는 추세이다. 이런 시대적 추세에 발맞춰 본 연구의 목적은 반성적 사고 실천에 기초한 교육실습 지도 원리와 그 방안을 모색해 보는데 있다. 이를 위하여 Schӧn 등이 교사교육을 위해 제안한, 실천이 수반되는 반성적 교육프로그램을 교육실습생에게도 적용해 보고자, 반성적 사고 실천에 기초한 교육실습 지도 원리를 국 내․외의 관련문헌을 분석하여 도출해 보았다. 그 결과 예비교사의 전문적 교육활동과 반성적 사고 능력 실천의 토대는 발문요령, 실천적 지식 활용으로 교육실습 불안감 완화, 교육적 신념 갖추기, 반성적 사고에 기초한 수업과정, 포트폴리오를 통한 반성적 교육실습 실천 등이다. 교육실습 협력교사로서 위의 교육실습 지도 원리를 제시하는 가운데 본 연구자 역시 그 동안의 교직생활을 반성해보는 계기를 갖게 되었고 ‘반성 중 행동’의 개념을 이해함으로서, 예비교사들에게도 전문성 향상을 위한 노력의 원천으로 반성적 사고의 실천을 강조할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to establish the methods of educational practice on the basis of reflective thinking. For the purpose, this researcher reviewed and rearranged such methods as described in books and publications, and applied Reflective Educational Program with practices, suggested by Schӧn for teacher education, to subjects of the study. Findings of the study prospective elementary school teachers can raise their skills of professional education and reflective thinking through reducing anxiety about educational practices by using techniques of questioning and practical knowledge, raising educational belief, performing teaching based on the practice of reflective thinking and practicing reflective education by using portfolios. Prospective elementary school teachers' skills of reflective thinking are quite important for current teacher education programs that emphasize critical analyzing during teaching. This study was meaningful to this researcher who was an aid to prospective elementary school teachers' educational practices. While proposing educational practice methods, the researcher could recollect and reflect his past days in the teaching profession.
