교육노마디즘을 향한 근대교육의 파르마콘 현상에 대한 비판적 성찰

Critical Introspection on Pharmakon in Modern Education Towards Educational Nomadism

‘교육의 새로운 해석학’은 근대교육을 근대 안에서 바라보는 동시에 근대 밖으로 성찰하도록 하는 새로운 지평이다. ‘근대교육의 자기배반성’은 전세계적으로 확산시킨 혁명적 대중교육과 평등이 비록 의도하지 않았지만, 교육카스트로서 교육의 등급화와 낙인의 과정을 통해 스스로 자기모순에 빠지는 것이다. 화려한 성공을 부추기며 실패의 공포와 불안으로 몰아가는 금기의 기제는 성찰성을 상실한 채 근시안적 시야에 갇혀 교육의 세 주체인 학습자-학부모-교사의 ‘연대적 신뢰관계’를 파괴하고, 치열한 제로섬의 경쟁에 매달리는 경쟁논리에 쫒기며 적응하게 한다. 그 결과, 근대교육의 빠른 흐름에 적응한다는 것은 사회적으로 ‘평균적 인간’의 재생산에 그치는 한계를 노정하고 있다. 무엇보다도 이러한 모순의 근본원인은 근대교육이 그 기저에서 ‘국가와 시장’의 두 축이 ‘파르마콘’을 가동하는 ‘교육시스템’과 공포와 불안으로 몰고가는 ‘금기’가 유기적으로 결합하여 ‘상호폐쇄성과 자기증식성’의 구조에 함몰되어있는데 있다. 무엇보다도 금기로부터 성찰성의 마비를 회복하는 세계는 바로 교육 세 주체간의 협력적-지지적-시너지적 소통세계이다. 교육노마디즘의 세계는 근대교육을 넘어서는 탈주의 관점에서 ‘교육의 새로운 재구조화’를 논의해야 할 긴박한 시점에 서 있다. 이 연구는 한국교육의 소생을 위해 왜, 어떠한 엑소도스가 필요한가에 대한 교육노마디즘의 새로운 재구조화의 지평을 환기하고자 한다.

'The new way of interpreting education' is a totally different approach not only to look at the modern education inside of modern ages but also to introspect modern education beyond modern times. 'The self-contradiction of modern education' means that modern education got some fruitful results that came from revolutionary public education and equality but ended up contradicting itself by classifying education according to what kind of social classes students belong to and stigmatizing process. The mechanism of taboo that drives students crazy by instigating students to have unfulfilled dreams lost the introspection and was confined in shortsightedness while it destroys the jointly trusting relations among learners, parents, and teachers and adapts itself to zero sum competitive educational system. In results, to be adapted to rapid changes of modern education leads students to become just average students. The basic reason for the problem is that the 'modern education system', 'nation and market', which are the two axes for operating pharmakon at the base of the modern education system, and sociocultural 'taboos', which blocks you from deviating from modernity, are combined organically in many aspects and assert power by 'simultaneously operating' the modern toxin. The current selection systems are based on the taboo, which weeds out unqualified ones and makes students worried and insecure instead of focusing on the potential of the students. When the perspective of modern education on a failure is changed by a view of pedagogy, modern education can be transformed to harmonic education by being freed from raw fear and anxiety for a failure as well as modernity. The recent supranational expansion of education keenly requires a new reorganization of education and has different phenomena from the modern education, which has required donation for mutual benefits among the educational subjects. It is the communication system among the three educational subjects with cooperation, support, and synergy that can recover inspection from taboos. In the world of educational nomadism, a new reorganization of education is urgently required to be discussed in a view of escape beyond the modern education. This study is focused on discovering a new area of educational nomadism on what exodus is needed to revive the education of Korea.
