近代 嶺南 禮制의 事例와 그 特徵

This paper is for the studying the features of Confucian ceremonies in Garyebogwol edited by Jang Yunsang who lived in the late Chosun Dynasty and discussing, based on it, a case of Yongnam provincial Confucian ceremonies in the 19th century and its features. For the first, the types and features of the books of Confucian ceremonies published in the 18the and 19th centuries Yongnam are explained by referring to Yongnam local Confucian ceremonies researched and reported in Kyungbukyeakji and Hangukminsokjonghaqjosabogoso. And the ceremonies re-constructed by Jang Yunang in Geryebogwol are analysed. The analysed are compared to Chuzijiali and Sangbyontonggo and the features compared are discussed. As the result of analysing and discussing, the ceremonies of Garyebogwol is simply not a true succession of Chuzijiali but a substantial repletion of it. And specially for the marriage ceremony, the editor of Garyebogwol likely to recover the norms of the Old classic ceremony of China and the fact show that the editor had a willingness to recover the morality and rationality rather than the accommodation of Chuzijiali. As comprehension of other features, it is characteristic for Garyebogwol to be made for consolidating the practical convenience and moral rationality of Confucian proprieties into the four ceremonies, namely the ceremonies of coming-of-age, marriage, funeral and ancestor worship. And a special feature is to edit in the book various records on a mace to let all the participants of relevant ceremony know the sequences and various forms to notice important messages to the other person or party. These records on a mace and forms to notice are for correct practices of the four ceremonies.
