This paper is a study of Rorty's thoughts on th language and the education The concepts of language of Rorty is very comprehensive and covers a wide range In his view, anything which is used as a means of conversation with agreements and rules and anything which also could be interpreted belongs to language In Rorty's view a language has features of the ubiquity, of the holist, and of the contingency The point of the ubiquity of language is that out experiences are all of the state of language and all experiences go through a interpretation of language Therefore the concepts of being at the outside of language have no meaning and role on the recognition According to the holist word is used not a certain system but is rather a product of the contingent changes in accordance with the cultural and historical conditions Rorty has used the word 'edification' instead of education According to Rorty, an educated person could create a new words on the existing words Therefore, the aim of edification is not the intact transmit of culture, truth, knowledge of the existing society but is the accomplishment of human being by creating new words. Such Rorty's theory of education suggests the necessity of transformation in the aims of education to the creative self-formation
