The purpose of this study is to find the appropriate exposure cycle for elementary school students to memorize the English vocabulary For this study, 80 4th grade and 40 6th grade students were divided into 4 groups All groups were exposed to the vocabulary four times, but four different exposure cycles were applied to the groups After the 4th treatments, three tests were administered The first one is done immediately after learning to assess vocabulary memory, the second is after one week and the last is after three weeks to assess vocabulary retention For the result of applying four different cycles to the 4th and 6th graders, as the interval of the cycle got shorter, the memory of vocabulary became better Overall, implications of this study are as follows First, we have to teach English at least twice a week to the 4th graders to effectively maximize memory of vocabulary Second, it is necessary to teach English more than three times a week to the 6th graders for vocabulary acquistion
