Information Quality Improvement Policy of Brokerage Services through Real Estate Information Portals

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES This study is to find out the major reasons of false information generation and advertising the real property through real estate information portals. Based on the assumptions of the causal relationship, we try to develop the quality improvement model the suggest some policy guidelines. (2) RESEARCH METHOD A typical and rigorous research methodology are applied to develop a conceptual model and empirical test for investigating main effect and moderating effect of the model variables. A series of crosstab, analysis variance, factor analysis, reliability analysis, mutiple regression are introduced by SPSS statistical packages. The 165 set of data ter collected from the questionnaire for real estate brokerage provides in Korea. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS 3 major hypotheses of the study are mostly accepted. Psychological reasons, organization cultural reasons are found to ve the main reasons for inaccurate generation and reporting of price information of real estate. On the contrary, Business characteristics and environmental reasons have not much impact on false informations. In addition, difference in real estate activities of the firm has influence on information quality as a moderating effect of the research model. 2.
