보육시설 평가인증제에 관한 부모의 인식 연구

A Study of the Parent’s Perceptions of Evaluative Accreditation System : Focusing on Certified Facilities

본 연구는 평가인증시설 부모의 보육시설 평가인증제에 관한 전반적인 인식을 알아보기 위한 조사 연구이다. 경북 P지역에 소재하는 평가인증시설(국․공립․민간) 부를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 평가인증시설 부모의 경우 평가인증제에 관해 높은 인식(90.4%)을 지니고 있었으며, 보육시설을 이용하는 데 있어 부모가 직접 방문해 본 후 선택하는 등 평가인증 여부가 가장 유일한 요인으 작용하지는 않지만, 평가인증에 대한 기본적인 인식과 74.7%가 평가인증에 있어서 부모참여가 필요하다고 하였으며, 대부분의 부모 95.2%가 평가인증이 필요하다고 답하였다. 이는 자녀에게 보다 양질의 보육서비스가 이루어질 수 있는가에 대한 부모들의 보다 적극적인 자세로 보여지며, 평가인증기관에 대한 계속적인 사후관리 뿐만 아니라 보육의 질을 위한 끊임없는 노력의 중요성을 시사하고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate of the parent's perceptions of Evaluative Accreditation System. For the research of this study survey the parents, located in the P city. The results of this study are as following First, parents participation and parents opinions are highly demanded on the perceptions of Evaluative Accreditation System. Second, Evaluative Accreditation System is doesn't matter for the parents when they are using child care facilities. According to the results the main purpose of the evaluation and certification system was to raise quality and many responded that facilities have to looking forward to a rise in child and care quality and expertise. in addition, they have to show that people in the child care field had an overall positive awareness on the system. Just as participating in the evaluation and certification process itself has the effect of certification, the administration of a certification and evaluation system at child care facilities itself has the effect of rasing the quality of child care fields in general. therefore, the evaluation and certification process should listen to voices of the field in the future from he position of an aide.
