본 연구는 비대칭적 의존상황에서 거래기간에 따라 영향력 우위의 소매업체에 대해 공급업체가 지각한 윤리경영과 공정성이 거래성과에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 유통업체와 거래를 하고 있는 비대칭적 의존상황의 공급업체 184개를 대상으로 실증 분석한 결과, 첫째, 비대칭적 의존상황에서는 기업차원의 윤리경영은 절차공정성에 영향을 미친 반면, 임직원차원의 윤리경영은 상호공정성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 절차공정성과 상호공정성은 분배공정성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 분배공정성과 상호공정성은 거래성과에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 절차공정성은 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 거래기간에 따른 특성을 살펴보면, 단기거래 상황에서는 절차공정성이 분배공정성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 상호공정성이 거래성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 장기거래 상황에서는 절차공정성과 상호공정성 모두 분배공정성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 분배공정성과 상호공정성이 거래성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점을 제시하였고, 연구의 한계점과 미래 연구 방향을 제시하였다.
The basic purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of ethical management of retailer on the vendor perceived equity. In the prior studies, it is still murky to figure out how ethical management cultivate equity to the development of relationship performance. Hence, this study adopted asymmetric dependence and relational duration to extend the explanation of ethical management effectiveness. As such, the other purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of duration on performance with ethical and equity drivers. Through nine hypothetical paths from research model, suppliers could be expected to make differences according to their relational duration in the high-depended context. Result from survey of 184 suppliers who were highly depended on the retailer, four path coefficients were different between groups; individual level ethical management to procedural equity, procedural to distributive equity, interactional to distributive equity, and distributive equity to relational performance. But, distributive equity to relational performance was failed to acquire the significance.
