A Study on the Vitalization of Operation Risk Management in Customs's Agent

This research put the purpose on the analysis of management expense and operation performance related to operational risk generated in the tariff business of customs office. To test the hypotheses, 80 Customs' agent in seoul korea were surveyed. MANOVA and Regression analysis was made. The results of this study are as follws : The first, operational risk management expense had a difference with the customs office's characteristic. The second, risk management expense had a difference with the characteristic of operation risk management. The third, the operation performance of the office where operational risk management expense is high appeared highly. This is set for customs office to carry out tariff business, and suggests the importance of operational risk management. Therefore, in performance of tariff business by customs office, a management risk is recognized highly and utilizing the operational risk control technique through estimation of operational risk, considerable increase of the growth rate and margin of customs office will be able to be carried out.
