This paper examines whether or not export insurance subsidy provided by the Korea government has promoted Korea's export supply. Unlike previous studies on the effectiveness of export subsidy in export demand, the current paper examines the effectiveness of export subsidy in export supply. The current study starts from examining the stationarity nature of the concerned variables. The unit root tests show that all concerned variable are non-stationary. The estimation was conducted with the ordinary least square method using annual data over the period for the object of analysis ranging from 1990 to 2007. The empirical evidences show that export insurance system has not contributed to promotion export supply in Korea.
