농촌여성노인의 생애사분석을 통한 성공적 노화에 관한 지역사회교육 전략

The Strategy of Community Education for Rural Elderly Women by Biographical Research

본 연구의 목적은 농촌여성노인의 삶을 생애사 분석을 통하여 살펴보고, 성공적 노화를 위하여 농촌여성을 위한 노인교육을 지역사회교육의 전략으로 제시하는 것이다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 적용된 연구방법은 15명의 농촌거주노인여성을 생애사적으로 내러티브 면담하고 수집된 자료를 전사하고, 근거이론의 코딩패러다임에 의해 분석하여 지역사회교육 활성화 방법을 도출하였다. 농촌여성노인은 '제한된 삶을 수용하고 지역사회의 자원인 이웃망을 이용하여 자기완성을 추구하는 끊임없는 학습자’로 핵심범주가 도출되었다. 농촌여성노인의 문제 해결을 지원하며, 정서적 지지를 제공하고, 자신의 새로운 정체성 형성을 도와주는 지역사회의 자본으로 이웃망이 발견되었다. 이웃망을 통한 노년기 학습은 여성노인이 자신의 삶을 성찰하고, 지역사회의 일상생활적 조건 속에서 성공적인 주체를 만들어 나가는데, 기여하므로, 이웃망 활성화를 위한 6가지 전략을 제언하였다. 또한 농촌여성노인의 교육 내용으로 건강 교육, 일관련 교육, 돌봄 교육, 새로운 정체성의 재구성을 위한 생애사 교육을 제언하였다.

Topic of following research is to determine, what is necessary for effective community education, focused on successful aging of rural elderly women. Taken as a basis to reflect this question is the method of biographical research. Therefore, 15 rural elderly women have been interviewed by means of the narrative method. These interviews, intended to analyze learning experiences during the whole life periods, have been transcripted and evaluated through the coding paradigm of the grounded theory. The result figures out, that neighborhood network is an important resource in regional community. With this concept, rural elderly women get a new identity through reflection and become self-integrated. Six strategies are suggested to support neighborhood network: Bottom-up principle, partnership and networking, principle of learning region, flexibility, self-regulated learning and even coproduction. Rural elderly women are reliant on help, which can be afforded by this facility. Through neighborhood network they become able to solve problems by themselves. On the one hand, they can get support, while they can give support on the other hand. In this context, health education, caring, work-related learning and productivity should be regarded as four substantial criteria that are essential to gain successful aging of women in rural areas.
