이 연구의 목적은 toy의 인증평가 척도를 개발하기 위한 기초연구로 toy의 질을 평가하기 위한 척도를 개발하고 타당화하는 것이다. 이 연구의 목적을 위해 관련 문헌의 이론적 탐색과 교구교육 관련 전문가들의 자유반응 설문 및 면담을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 이론적 개관을 통해 교육용 toy의 질 평가 척도를 구성하는 요인으로 안전성(safe), 내구성(endurable), 교육성(educable), 건전성(sound), 적절성(adequate), 예술성(aesthetic), 독창성(creative), 유희성(enjoyable)이 선정되었다. 그리고 유아교육 전공 학생들로 하여금 각 요인에 대한 적절한 문항이 무엇인지를 자유롭게 개발하도록 하여 그에 가장 적합하다고 판단되는 32개 예비문항을 toy 관련 전문가와 함께 선정하였다. 이러한 과정을 거쳐 개발된 문항으로 구성된 예비척도의 문항동질성과 구인타당도를 유아 및 특수교육 관련 전공 대학생 132명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 이들 타당화 과정 중 확인적 요인분석 결과 당초 설정한 8개 요인이 6개 요인으로 확인되었으며, 그 결과 일부 문항수정을 거친 후 6개 요인 28개 문항을 최종척도로 선정하였다. 최종선정된 6개 요인 28개 문항에 대하여 내용타당도 • 구인타당도 • 변별타당도를 분석하기 위해 유아 및 특수교육 관련 전공 대학생 186명에게 검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료의 문항별 내용적합성 분석, 요인분석, toy별 반응 차이의 유의도 검증을 실시하였다. 교육용 toy의 질 인증평가척도의 문항내적합치도를 분석한 결과 신뢰도가 모두 84 이상으로 나타나, toy의 질 인증을 위해 개발한 평가도구는 양호한 것으로 판단된다.
The purpose of this research was to develop a tool for the accreditation of toy and analyse its validity and reliability. The eight constructs of tool were identified as a result of literature review, which are safety, endurance, educability, soundness, adequateness, esthetic sense, creativity, and enjoyment. The thirty-two items that represented the eight constructs were developed by literature review and free-response questionnaire. Factor analysis confirmed the six factors that consist of twenty-eight items. The six factors are called safety(six items), endurance(four items), educability(four items), adequateness(six items), estheticism(four items), and creativity(four items). In order to examine the construct validity of the tool, confirmatory factor analysis was conducted and discriminant validity was computed. The tool also had high internal consistency reliability ranging from .888 to .915. Therefore, the Accreditation tool of Toy has high validity and reliability so that it can be used to measure quality of toy and choose excellent toy.
