This thesis investigated to the formation process and meaning based on translation aspect of Osunkibong. Osunkibong was known to new work ancient novel the meantime. But it was made by translation on Chinese writing transcription version Onobonggi. On characters and narrative composition, two works same. And narrative sentence related on two works. On translation process, Orobonggi's contents were omitted not a few. Mainly non-rarrative contents, fatalistic structure were omitted. As a result, individual character configuration and fantastic esthetic feeling were disappeared. The other side, On translation process, insertion was happened. Insertion was happened affection configuration of characters mainly. Now to conclude, omit and insertion of Osunkibong make protrude meeting and affection relation of characters. This thesis will contribute to stimulate reargument on new work ancient novel. As a result, transmission version ancient novel, new work ancient novel, new novel can have each location. Also this thesis will contribute to understand formation process and area of printing type version ancient novel. Among others, it will contribute to understand feature of printing type version ancient novel based on Chinese writing transcription version ancient novel.
