The Efficient Methods for Decreasing Export & Import Logistics Cost As the economic volume and trade in North-east Asia have increased. Korea's logistics industry has entered a stage of fast growth. therefore korea that is trying to be a logistics hub in North Asia has to be pay attention to the logistics connection of the other country especially china and japan. Trade enlargement between korea, china and japan may be advantage in mutual cooperation in the logistics parts. Advantage of our country is to reduces logistics cost and transport period time with rail, sea and air road transport that pass china, japan and korea. The purpose of this paper is to suggest the optimized management process regarding korea's export & import logistics by understanding problems of export & import logistics and finding the factor which influence the export & import logistics. First, Improvement of Korea's import and export customs procedures and mode are effective in reducing logistics cost, so we will need to reduce the flow of import and export logistics. An alternative plan are what are using Uni-Pass. The customs procedure in korea has become easier and more rapid with assistance of UNI-PASS, the new clearance system which is established on the Internet -based technology. The Key of Uni-Pass is to merge all information required for passing through for streamlining the whole procedure and improving the quality of customs service. Second, we need to re-examine thoroughly about the use of Incoterms. Incoterms' use in multimodal transport condition than traditional sea transport conditions will have to achieve efficient export and import logistics. Third, logistics competitiveness through a variety of multimodal transportation methods will be secured. Finally, We should strengthen the international competitiveness with reducing the cost of logistics units through logistics system reform and a variety of logistics innovation. In order to solve this issue with more clearly, short term and long term view's solution must be prepared together.
