A study on the applications of IC tag(RFID) for security and visibility in international container transportation

In international transport process, the formalities and procedures become complex paradoxically if strengthen security to protect safety of the country, and this becomes one big and new obstacle factor in import and export between the country. One of most clear counter measure about this applies IC tag(RFID) to international container transport. If apply IC Tag to international container transport, we can realize simplification of security strengthening and import and export formality at the same time. In this study, I analyze characteristic of IC tag as important mean that is fulfiled security strengthening and physical visibility in international container transport. And I present application possibility and extent, and expectation effect of IC Tag to international container transport.
