무용 교육과 청소년 자아개념과의 관계

The purpose of this study is to verify experimentally how does dance activity change self concept of the participants positively. Data has been collected through stratified random sampling establishing middle school, high school students in dance. Out of 435 total available samples excluding thosd unfaithfully answered 16 questionnaires, 419(218 participants, 201 nonparticipants) students data has been applied to this analysis. Sample numbers per each level(middle school, high school) has been allocated equally(50.6%, 49.6%). The questionnaire designed for this study consist of three fields; one for characteristics of participation in dance activity, one for self concept and one for general characteristics of the examine. Statistics applied for data analysis is t-test for an average error to examine the differences of self concept in accordance with participation of dance activity and the middle school students` dance patterns, and ANOVA is applied to examine the differences of self concept in accordance with the high school students` dance patterns. Based upon the results of these analysis and statics the following conclusion has been made for this study. 1. In case of Middle school students, Participants in dance activity show positive self concept. By the sub self-concept areas, participants show positive general, social, family and emotional self-concept than that of non-participants, while there is no significant differences between participants and non-participants in physical self-concept. 2. In case of high school students, Participants in dance activity show positive self concept, By the sub self-concept areas, participants show positive family and emotional self-concept than that of non-participants, while there is no significant differences between participants and non-participants in general, social and physical self-concept. 3. Participants in dance activity show a little differences in self-concept in accordance with dance pattern. Both of Middle school participants and high school participants in dance activity show a difference in just emotional self-concept.
