양면적인 접근 방법을 채택하여 리더쉽을 역동적으로, 그리고 총체적으로 규명하기 위하여 새롭게 제시된 대응가치 리더쉽 이론을 근간으로 투기 종목에서 운동 종목에 따른 지도자들의 역할 요인간의 차이를 분석함과 동시에 종목에 따른 지도자의 프로파일을 작성한 후, 비교 분석하는데 본 연구의 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 모집단은 대학 팀, 실업 팀, 대표팀에서 선수생활을 하고 있는 남자 선수로서 씨름 선수 44명, 유도 선수 60명, 레슬링 선수 51명, 태권도 선수 51명이다. 자료 분석은 각 역할 요인간의 차이를 검증하기 위하여 일원변량 분석을 실시하였으며, 프로파일을 작성하기 위하여 각 역할 요인들의 Z점수를 산출하였다. 측정도구는 하형주(1995)가 스포츠 상황에 적합하도록 개발한 대응가치 리러쉽 검사지(competing values leadership for sport : 챞민)FMF 사용하였으며, 이 검사지는 6개 하위요인으로 총 36개 문항이고, 7점 척도이며, 구조적 타당성은 확인적 요인분석의 결과로 입증되었으며, Cronbach`s alpha 계수의 범위는 .70에서 .88이다. 연구 결과 레슬링과 태권도 지도자들이 씨름과 유도 지도자들보다 창의적 연구 역할에 더 치중하였으며, 태권도 지도자들이 씨름, 유도, 레슬링 지도자들보다 절대적 지시 역할에 더 치중하였다. 각 종목의 리더쉽 프로파일 유형 비교에서 태권도 지도자와 레슬링 지도자들의 리더쉽 프로파일 유형이 바람직하게 나타났다.
The differences of roles and leadership profile of combative event`s coaches on competing values leadership This study was conducted with an attempt to find out the difference of coach`s roles and to make the leadership profile according to the combative events based on competing values leadership. A total of 206 subjects were involved in this study, including only male athletes from college, club, national representative teams(korean traditional wrestling 44, judo 60, wrestling 51, Taekwondo 51). The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA to find out the difference of coach`s roles and Z score to make the leadership profile according to the combative events. The inventory for measuring coach`s leadership was COVALS(competing values leadership for sport) which was developed by Ha(1995). The construct validity and reliability of this inventory was confirmed with confirmatory factory analysis and Cronbach alpha(.70 - .88). The results of this study were that wrestling and Taekwondo`s coaches was more efficient than korean traditional wrestling and judo`s coaches in the innovative researcher role, and Taekwondo`s coaches was more efficient than korean traditional wrestling, wrestling, and judo`s coaches in the authoritative director role. Taekwondo and wrestling`s coaches leadership profile were ideal based on competing values leadership.
