The purpose of this study was to examine relationship between player`s anxiety level which Judo coaches averagely judged and player`s performance level which Judo coaches averagely judged. The subjects were composed of 8 judo players belonged to Dong-A university. Questionaries used in this study was made up of anxiety measurement item and performance level item. Data analyses were derived through the use of Statistical Package for Social Science(SPSS 10. 0). The following results are based upon the findings of the study: Firstly, correlation relationship between player`s anxiety level which Judo coaches averagely judged and player`s performance level which Judo coaches averagely judged was statistically significant. Secondly, 4 level of competitive state anxiety in Judo player was statistically significant. Lastly, competitive state anxiety of Judo player exhibited an negative linear relationship with performance level.
