2차적 성폭력의 발생과 피해정도

The Occurrence and Impact of Secondary Sexual Violence : Busan Counseling Center Against Sexual Violence

본 연구는 그간 성폭력상담소 등에서 행해져 온 2차적 성폭력 근절사업을 중심으로 2차적 성폭력의 발생과 피해자에게 미치는 피해정도를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법은 사례분석(case study), 면접법(mterview)을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2차적 성폭력은 경찰, 검찰, 법정, 의료기관, 기족 및 주변인, 가해자 및 그 가족 등에서 발생하였으며 특히 경찰, 검찰에서 가장 많이 발생하였다. 둘째, 2차적 성폭력은 1차적 성폭력보다 그 치명성이 더 크게 나타났다. 피해자들은 성폭력은 살다보면 당할 수 있다고 생각하기도 했지만 성폭력 피해를 입은 후에 겪게 되는 2차적 성폭력으로 인한 고통이 더욱 크다고 하였다. 2차적 성폭력의 피해정도는 매우 광범위하게 나타났다. 이 논문은 연구상의 한계에도 불구하고 2차적 성폭력에 대한 종합적인 발생과 그 피해정도를 살펴봄으로써 2차적 성폭력 근절의 계기를 마련하고 피해자들이 상처를 극복하고 자신의 권리를 찾을 수 있는 대안을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
