Jesus is a highly controversial figure which aroused fervent debates among Judaism, Islam and Christianity The reason is due to their different perception of divine revelation, which is based on their insistence which only is scripture of their own This made a comparative study on Jesus' life, particularly his death, resurrection and second coming in their scriptures Judaic scripture describes negatively on Jesus' death, resurrection and second coming overall The reason is that jesus based on new testament's teaching is contrary to judaic torah‘s thought Judaism insists that torah only is revelation, which is sole and absolute Islam, meanwhile, asserts that quran only is complete revelation In islam, torah and new testament have been perverted But quran was transmitted to the last revelation, thus islam claims that judaism's interpretation on jesus and christianity's are wrong However, christianity argues that jesus is the revelation itself and is the God and man, and the bible appears perfect revelation in jesus New testament explains that jesus accomplished covenant of old testament, and insists that Jesus is the root of revelation
