Hungarian Literature of 20-th century has a various and fundamental changes. The political changes produced literary vivid life. In this article, I focus on the time from 1945 to 2001. During this time, the literature's life was rules by the political system. Political change caused the literary change. The chief trend of the hungarian modern literature is rapid move and new method. Because of the political change, the writers are not in stable position. They always had an antenna that measured the political movement, the government's culture policy and the powerful politician's thinking. The rapid change and new method follows the fast change of the politic system. In 1945 Hungary was independent from the Fascism, and departed the new social revolution. The writers came back and made a literary circle. But 1948 - year of turning point- the political power was entered Rákós's hand. From this time the culture policy ruled the writers. The great changes of this time were brought about by left wing writers and Hungarian Writer's Association and the several important literature magazine. Between 1945 and 1956 is the most popular literary tendency is the socialist realism. But after 1956, followed the serious upheaval. The anti socialist realism movement brought up. The literature come back in his original ground. The products of world literature have been familiar to the reader and from that time on modern literary style and instrument have been rapidly spread out. Örkény István, Darvas József has written a satirical and bizarre drama. Between 1960 and 1970 there was a considerable growth in surrealistic and avantgardic literature. The best representatives of generation of the seventies are Esterházy Péter and Nádás Péter. With their new novel, the new poet produced a wonderful poems. For example, Tandori Dezsô, Orbán Ottó and Gergely Ágnes is the best known poet. In drama Spiró György, Bereményi Géza and Czakó Gábor are famous drama writer.
