서울지역 공공병원 자원봉사자의 임파워먼트 영향요인 연구

A Study on the Main Factors Affected to the Volunteers' Empowerment at the Public Hospitals, Seoul

본 연구는 공공병원 자원봉사자의 임파워먼트 영향요인을 실증적으로 분 석하여 봉사활동의 지속성과 봉사자의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 방안을 마련하 는데 그 목적이 있다. 선행연구를 통해 임파워먼트 영향요인으로 자원봉사자의 조직특성인 리더십, 보상체계, 교육과 개발기회를 선택하였고, 업무특성으로는 과업다양성, 과업중요성, 활동자체특성, 역할특성을, 개인특성으로는 자아존중 감, 자기통제, 대인통제을 선택하였다. 임파워먼트의 하위요인으로는 의미성, 역량, 자기결정성, 영향력으로 구성하였다. 임파워먼트 영향요인을 분석하기 위하여 서울지역 6개 공공병원 460명의 자원봉사자들을 대상으로 2009년 7월 27일부터 8월 25일까지 구조화된 설문 지를 배포하여 총 280부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 조사결과는 SPSS를 통한 신뢰도 검증 및 기술통계, 상관관계, 다중회귀분석에 의해 분석되었다. 분석결과 공공병원 자원봉사자 임파워먼트에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 업무특성의 과업다양성, 과업중요성, 활동자체특성 변수와 개인특성요인의 자아존중감과 자기통제, 대인통제가 유의미한 변수로 나타났다.

This study is made for the purpose of evidently analyzing the affected factors to the volunteers’ empowerment in the public hospitals, thus establishing the plan to be able to maintain their activities and enhance their satisfaction.Throughout the previous study, as the affected factors to the empowerment, first Leadership, Compensation System and Education and Development Opportunities, regarded the organizational characteristics of volunteers, were adopted, secondly, a Variety of Tasks, Significance of Tasks, Characteristic Activities, Characteristic Roles, considered the characteristics of tasks, were done, thirdly, as the individual characteristics, Self-Respect, Self-Control, Control toward Individuals were done. As the sbu-factors of empowerment, meaningfulness, competency, Self-Determination, and Influence were constituted. To analyze the affected factors to the empowerment, we distributed the structured questionnaire to the 460 volunteers, working for the total six public hospitals in Seoul, dated from Jul.27 thru Aug.25,2009 and the total of 280 answers sheets were used for the final analysis. The data collected from this survey were treated with the reliability verification, technical statistics, correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis by SPSS software program. Its detailed analysis result appeared that a Variety of Tasks, Significance of Tasks, and Characteristic Activities from the Characteristics of Tasks as well as Self-Respect, Self-Control, Control toward Individuals from the Individual Characteristics have a only meaningful variables as the affected factors of volunteers’ empowerment, working for the public hospitals.
