한국 기업들의 혁신에 대한 실증적 분석

An Empirical Analysis on Innovation in Korea

변화와 혁신은 이제 기업의 선택사항이 아니고 필수사항이다. 혁신에 대한 중요성은 많이 알려져 있다. 그러나 한국에 있어서 혁신에 대한 실증적인 조사는 그리 연구되고 있지 않다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 혁신에 대한 한국 기업들의 현황을 조사하고 분석하여 혁신을 추구하는 기업들에게 효과적인 도입과 실천 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 일부 주요한 연구결과는 우리나라 기업들은 급진적 혁신보다는 점진적 혁신에 그리고 제품 및 서비스 혁신보다는 프로세스 혁신에 역시 훨씬 더비중을 두고 있다는 점이다.

Change and innovation are not options but necessities of companies. The importance of innovation is well-known among companies. The empirical researches on innovation in Korea, however, are very few. Therefore, this study is to uncover and analyze the current status of innovation in Korea and to show effective guidelines for successful implementation. Some major results show that Korean companies studied focus more on incremental innovation than radical innovation and more on process than product(service) innovation.
