1930년대 지식인 소설에서의 미소지니즘 경향

Misoginism in the intellectual’s writings in the 30s -with Camil Petrescu’s and Yi Sang’ writings-

상업적인 목적에서 등장한 지식인은 자신을 만들어낸 부르조아에 대항하며 사회의 모순을 폭로하고 약한 자 들을 대변하는 지식인의 역할을 담당하도록 변천해 왔다. 그러나 자신의 의지와는 상관없이 사회의 여러 가지 부정적인 상황이나 장애물로 인해 권리와 의무를 포기하고 살아가야 하는 지식인의 모습이 카밀과 상의 작품에 주로 묘사되어 있다. 그들이 <프로크루스테스의 침대 Patul lui Procust>의 라디마나 <날개>, <지주회시>의 주 인공 ‘나’이다. 특히 라디마는 혼자서 헤쳐 나가기에는 너무나 벅찬 사회악의 벽을 넘지 못하고 자살한다. <날 개>, <지주회시>의 주인공 ‘나’는 자신이 지식인이라는 사실을 망각한 채 스스로 사회에서 떨어져 나와 운둔 한 다. <프로크루스테스의 침대>의 프레드나 <사랑의 마지막 밤 전쟁의 첫 번 째 밤 Ultima noapte de dragoste, &icirc;nt&acirc;ia noapte de r&#259;zboi>의 슈테판은 지식인으로서의 자만감으로 인해 자신이 바라보아야 할 현실과 사회를 직시하지 못 한다. 이 주인공들의 의식과 삶을 통해서 카밀과 상 두 젊은 지식인-작가들이 처해있는 정치 경제적인 배경과 당 시 사회 전반적인 분위기를 파악할 수 있다. 그리고 그들에게 힘을 실어주지 못하는 사회 정치적인 상황으로 인 해 삶에 대한 회의나 부정적인 심리상태, 의식 깊이 깔려 있는 염세주의 등이 표현되어 있다. 이 염세주의에는 물론 삶 자체를 부정하는 성격이 내포되어 있지만 무엇보다도 여성을 싫어하고 비하는 경향도 짙게 배어 있다. 1차대전의 격정과 후유증, 식민지 등의 외부적인 상황과 더불어 두 작가가 내면에 숨겼던 개인적인 이유, 삶을 살아가는 모습 등에서 두 작가가 미소지니스트가 된 동기가 드러난다. 두 작가의 삶에서 여성의 이미지는 호의적이지 않다. 아름답지만, 남자를 기만하고, 속물근성을 보이고, 허 영에 빠지고, 정조 개념이 없는 여인들이다. 남자들은 자신의 기준-아집과 편견-에 맞추어 여인을 선택하고 판 단하는 자신들의 오류를 제때에 깨닫지 못 한 채 자아가 분열되고, 소외감을 느끼고, 존재에 대해 고뇌하기도 한다. 오류를 깨달았을 때에 남자 주인공들은 자살을 시도하기도 한다. 그러나 이런 남자 주인공들이 추락하는 이유를 ‘여자’에게 두기도 하지만, 자신의 지성이나 이성이 그릇된 판단을 한 것을 용납하지 못하는 남자들의 자만감에서 비롯되기도 한다. 결국 여인은 이런 남자들에 의해 비하되고 무시당하고 낮게 평가된다. 이것이 카 밀과 상의 미소지니즘이다.

The intellectuals who appeared for the commercial goal have been changed to the intellectual who resisted bourgeoisie who created them, exposed social conflict and spoke for part of weak people. But the features of intellectuals who live in giving up their right and duty by negative situation of society or hurdle are described by Camil’s and Sang’s writing. They are Ladima of <Procrustean bed> and ‘I’ of <Nalghe>, <Jijuhesi>. Especially, Ladima couldn’t get over social abuses and killed himself. ‘I’ the hero of <Nalghe>, <Jijuhesi> get out of part of society and seclude himself from society as forgetting the fact that he is a intellectual. Fred of <Procrustean bed> or Stefan of <Last night of love, first night of war> can’t see the reality and society as that they must see, course their conceit as intellectual class. We can find out writer’s political backing and a social atmosphere through this model’s life and consciousness. The novel was expressed incredulous life, unfaithful state and pessimism for political situation which don’t achieve their ambition. Of course, this pessimism includes negative mind. But it includes important meaning that humility about woman. Together with the passion and aftermath of the by private reason that the two writers hid it inside, the motive why the two writers became misoginist appeared it. It is not favorably disposed to the woman in their life. They consider that woman is so beautiful, but she is full of vanity, imposes on man and doesn’t prize chastity. With the men don’t find out their mistake-they set their standard about woman, sometimes the man suffer and feel alienation, when they see the error of their ways, they often try to attempt suicide. However, this problem occurs because of not only the woman but also themselves. So they ignore and estimate low to woman. that is misoginism of Camil and Sang.
