‘세르비아-크로아티아-슬로베니아 왕국’ 하에서의 크로아티아

A Study on Croatia under ‘the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes’ : An Equal Community State vs. Great Serbianism

제 1차 세계대전이후 수립된 최초의 남슬라브 족 통합 왕국 하에서의 대내적 특징을 한 마디로 설명한다면, 크로아티아인들의 ‘평등한 공동체 국가’ 수립을 향한 의지와 세르비아의 ‘대세르비아주의 국가’ 수립간의 갈등과 충돌이라 요약 지을 수 있다. 남슬라브 통합 왕국이 수립된 이후 왕국내 민족들 간에는 왕국의 존립과 발전을 둘러싸고 끊임없는 갈등과 충돌이 있어 왔다. 이런 과정 속에서 크로아티아는 자신들의 이상 국가로 설정한 남슬라브족 간의 평등한 공동 체 국가 수립을 위해 다양한 노력들을 보이게 된다. 20세기 유고슬라비아’를 연구하기 위한 작업의 일환인 본 연구에 선 제 1차 세계대전이후 수립된 남슬라브 통합 왕국내 갈등과 충돌을 ‘평등한 공동체 국가 수립’과 ‘대(大)세르비아 국가 수립’ 의지간의 견해 차이에서 비롯되었다고 전제하고 있다. 이를 기초로 ‘세르비아-크로아티아-슬로베니아 왕국’하에서 유고슬라비아 지역내 국가들 중 크로아티아를 주요 사례로 삼아 크로아티아의 시각에서 바라본 신생 왕국과 당시 이 지역의 전반적인 상황을 분석하고자 한다.

After World War I, Serbia established the First unity nation of South Slaves(“the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes”). During that time, Croatia tried to establish an ‘Equal Community State’. But she failed because Serbia conceived the Kingdom as the process for ‘Great Serbia’. So, Croatia had to conflict against ‘Great Serbianism’ for the establishment of their ideal state. In this study, I will analyze about political, social and economic situations of the Croatia during the ‘Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes’ from the view of the conflict between the Establishment of an Equal Community State and the Spread of the Great Serbianism”. And this paper is just one phase of the studies of ‘20C' Yugoslavia’ such as ‘World War I and Yugoslavia’ and ‘World War II and Yugoslavia’.
